Opening a new destination usually means building everything from scratch.

Beyond Travel is a Sarajevo-based travel agency that already runs tours, transfers and stays across Bosnia and Herzegovina every week. As your DMC, you plug into that operation instead of building your own.

To sell Bosnia, you need:

  • Hotels you've actually checked
  • Drivers you'd trust
  • Licensed guides in your clients' language
  • Someone at Sarajevo airport at 6 AM
  • Contracts · invoices · payments
  • Someone on the phone when the plan changes

That's months of work before a single trip is sold.

We handle all of it:

  • Hotels
  • Transport
  • Licensed guides
  • Airport transfers
  • Activities
  • Someone on the ground, daily
  • Contracts · invoices · payments

Already in place

You sell. We run it on the ground.

Need a programme adapted to your dates?

A compact country with a lot in it.

Sarajevo to Mostar is about 2–2.5 hours by road. Most highlights sit within a day's drive of the capital, and Split, Dubrovnik and Belgrade are natural entry or exit points.

From request to departure in four steps.

  1. 1

    Send your request

Dates, number of travellers, style of trip. A rough idea is enough.

  2. 2

Get a proposal with net rates

Itinerary, hotels and net rates within 24–48 hours.

  3. 3

    Confirm, contract, deposit

We sign a partner agreement and take a deposit to secure services.

  4. 4

    We operate on the ground

Your clients travel; you get a single point of contact for the whole trip.

Start with step one.

Questions partners ask before the first request.

Are you a licensed travel agency?

Yes. Beyond Travel is a registered travel agency based in Sarajevo, selling tours, transfers and stays in Bosnia and Herzegovina. We send our registration and licence details with every partner agreement.

How do net rates and commissions work?

Partners receive net rates per programme or per service. You set your own selling price and margin; we never publish partner prices or contact your clients.

Payment terms, currency and deposits? Can you invoice in EUR to an EU company?

We quote and invoice in EUR. A deposit confirms the services and the balance is due before arrival; exact terms are in the partner agreement. Invoices can be issued to companies in the EU.

What's your cancellation policy for partners?

Cancellation terms depend on the services booked (hotels have their own rules) and are written into each proposal, so you know them before you confirm.

Minimum group size? Do you also handle FIT / individual travellers?

Our programmes run from 2 travellers, and we handle both FIT and groups. For larger groups and series, send us dates and numbers and we will plan capacity.

Which languages do your guides speak?

English as standard. Other languages on request — tell us your clients' language when you send the request.

How fast do you reply to a request?

Within 24 hours on working days, with a full proposal and net rates within 24–48 hours.

Who do my clients call if something goes wrong during the trip?

Our local contact person, by phone or WhatsApp. You get the same contact, so you are always in the loop.

Is Bosnia and Herzegovina safe for tourists?

The main destinations — Sarajevo, Mostar, Herzegovina and the national parks — receive international visitors all year. As with any country, check your government's current travel advice. In remote mountain areas we stay on marked roads and trails, as some old minefields remain away from tourist routes.

Do my clients need a visa?

It depends on nationality. Citizens of the EU, UK, USA and many other countries can currently enter visa-free for short stays. Always check the official list from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina before travel.

Visa rules — Ministry of Foreign Affairs of BiH (opens in a new tab)

Can you combine Bosnia with Croatia, Montenegro or Serbia?

Yes. We run transfers and day routes from and to Split, Dubrovnik and Belgrade, so Bosnia can sit in the middle of a wider Balkan itinerary.

Which seasons work best?

April to October for cities, waterfalls and rafting; September and October are ideal for groups. Winter works for Sarajevo city breaks and skiing on Jahorina and Bjelašnica.
